Groundbreaking Ceremony 

We celebrated the groundbreaking of Westover Hills Baptist Hospital on October 11, 2022. Joining us in celebration were representatives from Northwest Vista College, Robins & Morton, ESa, the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and Baptist Medical Network. We were also privileged to have Councilwoman Melissa Cabello Havrda as a distinguished speaker.

Topping Out Ceremony

We celebrated the "Topping Out" ceremony for Westover Hills Baptist Hospital on May 23, 2023. This ceremony marked the last and tallest beam being placed onto the structure, a huge milestone in construction progress. Before being lifted into place, the construction crew and leaders from both Baptist Health System and our project partners signed the beam.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

We celebrated our official ribbon cutting ceremony for Westover Hills Baptist Hospital on June 11, 2024. This ceremony brought together VIP leadership from across Baptist Health System, Tenet Health, the Baptist Health Foundation, the City of San Antonio and other organizations to celebrate the completion of construction and the upcoming opening of the hospital.

Brady Phillips

President and CEO, Westover Hills Baptist Hospital
 

Brady Phillips is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Westover Hills Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Baptist Health System's newest acute care hospital on the far west side. He has led all aspects of planning and development for the new campus at Westover Hills.

Brady has served as Group Chief Strategy Officer for Baptist Health System and sister hospitals, Valley Baptist Health System and Nacogdoches Medical Center. Additionally, Brady has also served as the Interim Market CEO for Tenet’s two Tennessee based Saint Francis hospitals.

Brady joined Baptist Health System in May of 2016 as Director of Business Development and Associate Administrator at Baptist Medical Center. He has been with Tenet Healthcare since 2010 where prior to joining Baptist, he held various leadership positions within the Performance Management and Innovation Department, working on operational improvement, Lean Management, supply chain management, clinical and operational initiatives at a corporate level. Prior to joining Tenet, Brady served in a variety of roles at Scott and White Healthcare as well as the Willis Knighton Health System in Louisiana. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Baylor University.
